New Issue: Exchanges - The Interdisciplinary Research Journal (Vol 13.2)

2026-05-21

Exchanges: The Interdisciplinary Research Journal has just published its latest issue and invites readers globally to read its articles.

This is the thirty-fourth issue of Exchanges, first published in Spring 2026 by the Institute of Advanced Study, Warwick and hosted by University of Warwick Press.

Article topics in this issue include: the 2020 Spanish television series Veneno and the 'trans bio-epic', two Critical Reflections on the growing academic practice of auto-ethnography, the sociolinguistic practices of naming children in Telugu-speaking Christian communities in India, an examination of biochar and its potential helps and harms for the environment and the 'more-than-human', and providing a 'decolonial framework' for tackling inequality in higher education. Alongside the regularly submitted pieces, this issue also contains an article previously submitted for the Queerness as Strength special issue.

Excitingly, the Editor-in-Chief’s editorial explains at length the recent announcement of a major change of direction for the journal editorially, which is sure to be of interest to readers and authors alike. Naturally, the editorial also provides an overview of the articles in the issue with advice, guidance and information for prospective future author contributions.
