New Issue - Reinvention - Voices of Change (Vol 19)

2026-05-05

We are delighted to celebrate the publication of a new issue of Reinvention: An International Journal of Undergraduate Research.

A new issue of Reinvention, one of the University of Warwick Press’ (UWP) family of journals, was published at the end of April 2026. Now in its 19th volume, this issue's theme is ‘Voices of Change' and centres around reflections and explorations concerning the power of research to question assumptions, challenge established narratives and imagine new possibilities. Additionally, the issue includes the British Conference of Undergraduate Research 2026 Book of Abstracts. Like all UWP journals, Reinvention is fully open-access with all articles freely available to all globally without charge.

Mission & Publications

Reinvention has a long and storied heritage as a journal dedicated to the development and dissemination of student research for nearly 20 years. Facilitated by staff at Warwick’s Institute of Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL), the journal itself is expressly a co-creation between the team and students. The journal’s direction and content are led by a student populated Editorial Board with representatives from Warwick as well as Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Reinvention normally publishes two issues annually (April & October), containing high-quality peer-reviewed undergraduate student research alongside reflective articles which aim to be interdisciplinary and accessible.

As a diamond open-access title no fees are levied on readers or authors alike, with funding and resources to support the journal’s work provided by IATL and the University Library, via the Press team.
